Though our customers can choose any meat processor in the Mat-Su Valley, we partner with the very in Palmer, Alaska - Bear Mountain Meats. Their experienced and knowledgeable butchers are simply a cut above the rest. We make this very simple and easy for our customers. There are three prices included in your total cost. 1. Humane slaughter and delivery to Bear Mountain Meats. 2. Our farm price per lb. for the hanging weight of the animal (this is after the animal has been slaughtered and organs/skin/head removed). 3. Bear Mountain Meats basic cost for processing and packaging per lb. for the hanging weight of animal (plus any extra costs for specialty items).  Base prices are listed below.

When you place an order, we delivery your product directly to Bear Mountain Meats. You check out their website, decide what cuts you want, and call tell them to relay what cuts, if you would like specialty items like smoking and slicing on hams and bacon, sausages, snack sticks, etc. and whether or not you would like to have bones, organs, and fat kept and packaged. Once you have communicated directly with them, they get to work! They call you when your purchase is ready for pick up! (this usually takes around 2 weeks). You pick up at their facility in Palmer. It's an AMAZING feeling to drive up and see your boxes of insanely delicious, locally grown and processed, farm fresh meats ready to stuff into your freezer! You get the satisfaction of knowing who has raised, slaughtered, and processed your food - all right here in the Mat-Su Valley! Fill your freezers today and never worry again about supply issues at the big box stores. You won't believe the difference in flavor, quality, nutrient value, and savings.
